UN General Assembly Resolution 59-24

Emphasizes the importance of reporting acts of piracy and sharing information between states affected by piracy. The resolution calls upon states to facilitate the apprehension and prosecution of suspected pirates, urges all states to adopt national legislation to combat piracy and armed robbery at sea, and to become parties to the SUA Convention and its Protocol.
