18 Best Tucson Resorts, Arizona (2024) With Reviews

What is the difference between partly sunny and partly cloudy?

Sam here, and as you contemplate that question, I’ll tell you about my exciting adventures in Tucson, Arizona, and some of the best resorts there.

I first visited Tucson about 6 years ago. I was not into what I’d call ‘strenuous’ outdoor activities back then, and so my experience was not the best. And the fact that I stayed in a hotel that had its challenges did not make the experience any better.

Well, over the years, my view on ‘strenuous’ outdoor activities has greatly changed and as you all know, I’m an outdoor junkie.

I had always wanted to go back to Tucson to experience its desert landscape and 2 weeks ago, I made it happen! To say I was excited is an understatement. Exhilarated might express the feeling better (Well, just because the word sounds like it weighs more than ‘exciting’, right?).

This trip has turned out to be one of my best travel experiences, yet! I can’t believe there was a time I did not enjoy this. 2 weeks later, I’m still here, so this should tell you something. I just might forget everything and start a new life here!

I’ve explored the Sonoran Desert and hiked through its breathtaking cactus forests and rugged mountains, gone rock-climbed the cliffs of Mount Lemmon, cycled some amazing trails, and hiked Catalina State Park and Sabino Canyon. What else could a man want?

The rich historic sites have also been quite impressive.

I’ll be here until, wait for it, the Tucson Rodeo takes place in February! When I say I might have found a new home here, I mean it. The cowboy in me is at home.

However, what has made this experience even more amazing is the beautiful resort I’m staying at. I had to do my due diligence this time and I landed the best of the best resorts. You need such to take away all the exhaustion of the day.

I’ve visited a few more resorts while here and put together a list of 18 of them. Hope this list will help you plan your next trip to Tucson, Arizona.
