18 Best Cruises to Aruba That Are Affordable (2024)

What’s up, folks? It’s Adam.

About 2 years ago, my brother went cruising to Aruba and couldn’t stop talking about it. I’m the travel guy in the family and so of course his bragging made me feel some type of way. I made a mental note to visit Aruba and have an even better experience than him. If you have a sibling, you understand that competition between siblings is a thing, right?

Fast forward to this year and all my Aruba dreams came true! And I can proudly report that I had a better experience than my brother! Well, take that Jack! (Jack is my brother’s name.) Sorry to any Jacks here.

Aruba took me by surprise. I had seen pictures online, and well, heard stories of its beauty from my brother, but seeing it in reality, was completely different. In a good way.

I took a 12-day cruise from Manhattan and arrived in Aruba on the eighth day. I didn’t proceed with the cruise because I wanted enough time to explore the famous destination. I made the most out of the 3 days I stayed here before cruising back. I went on a submarine expedition, a thrilling jeep safari, snorkeling, and a bus tour around the island.

The jeep safari was one of my favorite experiences. We explored the Ayo Rock Formations, Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, and the Alto Vista Chapel, which was built in the 1750s.

The experience along the way to Aruba was also great. We enjoyed the breathtaking views, the food, the music, the live entertainment, and the games. I also enjoyed the stops along the way at St. Thomas, where I went shopping, and St. Croix, where I went Scuba diving!

This cruise is certainly one for the books. If you’d like to take a cruise to Aruba, here is a list of 18 of the Best Cruises to Aruba in 2024.
