When it comes to food, Savannah is known for its seafood. It’s rare to find a restaurant that doesn’t do seafood.

Now, if you’re a regular here you know all about my stomach’s relationship with seafood. But you also know that nothing will stop me from having a nice plate of seafood.

My friends and I went on a 3-hour bike tour of the city. It was great, but it also made us so hungry that no one had the energy to even speak when we were done.

Luckily, we knew just the right spot to have a wholesome meal and get back our energy.

We visited ShellHouse Restaurant for dinner and enjoyed Fried shrimp and oysters with a side of red rice and potato salad. It’s a must-eat dish!

Here are some of the activities I enjoyed during my stay.

The UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium is a great place to visit near Savannah.
