I’m in Austin, doing some fun activities and living my best cowgirl life. Well, I was until the swollen face happened.

Anyway, everything was going smoothly until I went hiking Mount Bonnell. It’s a beautiful mountain that offers some of the best views of Austin.

We had started the day early so we’d be at peak by the time it was getting hot. So we were enjoying the cool morning air. As we were going through a thicket, I heard a buzzing noise.

I turned to my guide and asked him what that was but before he could answer I felt a sting on my face. And another one. And another one. Before I knew it, I had several bee stings. Boy did I scream! Bee stings are so painful!

Long story short, this is how I ended up with a swollen tomato face.
