The bartenders here are attentive and friendly, and the pizza is full of fantastic homemade tastes and perfect toppings that bring out the flavor without being overpowering; although not exactly cheap, it’s worth every penny.
This tavern isn’t too busy or too intense and is a perfect hidden gem of a visit nestled in the streets south of downtown Tampa; and if you’re willing to make the short drive, it’ll be a great location to begin a great Tampa bar crawl.
We also recommend asking one of the bartenders about the pizza of the week, which are often unique special pizzas that may include a discount or fun topping combination to pair with your drinks.
We’re certain that anybody who loves pizza or a great selection of drinks will find happiness in The Loaded Barrel Tavern.
